My goal is to combine compassionate pediatric care, evidence-based medicine, and healthcare innovation to improve the lives of children and families.
Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad
Secured admission to one of India’s top medical colleges by ranking in the top 200 in the state medical entrance examination. Graduated with a medical degree in 2020.
TecMojo.com, a personal project
During medical school, I taught myself the technical and marketing side of running a website from scratch — everything from servers and WordPress to SEO and digital marketing — to launch TecMojo.com, a price comparison site for electronics. It eventually closed down over a data problem I couldn’t crack: making sense of product data pulled from Amazon and Flipkart needed a data engineer, and I didn’t have one.
USMLE exams & first observership
Began USMLE exams and completed a remote observership — an early, practical introduction to how the US healthcare system actually operates, day to day.
In-person observerships
Completed in-person observerships in New Jersey and Arizona, seeing firsthand how clinical workflows and patient care differ across practice settings.
Duke University
Joined Duke as a research scholar, then moved on to complete a neuro-oncology observership with Dr. Justin T. Low — a close look at how academic medicine and physician-led research come together in practice.
Mayo Clinic
Joined Mayo Clinic as lead postdoctoral research fellow on an interdisciplinary project spanning emergency medicine, radiology, and internal medicine, working with Dr. Philip Araoz (radiology) on a triple rule-out CT project. Also worked with Dr. Shivaram Poigai Arunachalam in the Digital Engineering & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (DEAL). Published multiple papers during this time, including work with independent research collaborators.
Pediatrics residency, NYC Health + Hospitals
Started pediatrics residency at NYC Health + Hospitals, one of the largest public hospital systems in the country — the clinical training ground where day-to-day pediatric care became the core of my work.
Healthcare Administration Scholars Program
Joined the Healthcare Administration Scholars Program (HASP) at NYC Health + Hospitals alongside residency — a 20-month program built around bimonthly didactic sessions taught directly by hospital and system leadership, covering hospital administration, quality management, patient safety, health information technology, healthcare economics, and professional development.
Graduated both programs
Completed pediatrics residency and the Healthcare Administration Scholars Program in the same month.
Joining InnerCare – Hemet, CA
Starting as a pediatrician at InnerCare – Hemet, a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides care on a sliding fee scale in an area designated a Health Professional Shortage Area. Start date to be finalized — see the Contact page for appointment info.
